Gatorade x Lots of Sneakers = Perfect Commercial
(yes the ladies look great… but THE SNEAKERS, look at the sneakers)
(I think I have a problem lol)
Straight from 2Dopeboyz.com
It’s been a while since I’ve seen anything from The Niceguys, so it’s nice to know that they’ll be dropping new music in the upcoming future. In the meanwhile, enjoy this Gatorade-sponsored event known as the Tipping Point in Houston.
I swear, you got to be everywhere now-a-days to see all the stuff that is coming out when it comes to sneakers. Its like if it aint a new video, its a new feature, sneaker line, technology or something. something is on sale somewhere, and there is always some new sneaker or shoe that is coming out that no one is paying attention to until it comes out… hiw do you keep upp with all this stuff? lol

WOW Nice Kicks! Nike Hyperize “Sidney Deane”
(these are crazy nice)
I wasn’t too sure about the Hyperize sneaker. I knew it is a performance sneaker and it used FlyWire (the 21 Centry equivlant to the late 1980’s “its got air”) but other than being on the court with them, I saw no reason to buy (other than being a very unique person).
(yes I know it won’t play lol just click on it to see movie clip)
But this colorway (and the other colorway) makes me change my mind. Read more »
Nike Air Max LIVESTRONG Release

(just want to say that this was a solid release right here)
(and it got meaning too… look good and feel good)
Sneaker News:Dangling Sneakers and Shoes On A Fence = Economic Woes
I, like most people in the US, have felt the sting of the current economicmess. Maybe not as bad as other people have had (like loosing their home or job) but nevertheless I too have felt some impact.
As I was browsing for news stories on sneakers or shoes, I came across this news story about the loss of funding for a charity that runs a shelter for domestic violence victims due to the tightening of funds for non-profits like these.
Linda Healy, the executive director of the shelter, says that the cut is so high, that they will be forced to close the shelter.
Here is a quote from the article:
Dozens of shoes dangle from a wrought-iron fence surrounding a 19th century mansion for battered women and children, which plans to close its doors on July 1.
The flip-flops, tiny pink baby sneakers and crutches are token reminders of those once served by the Mutual Ground Inc shelter, which last year housed 400 people but is now another victim of the crisis in U.S. social services amid a deep recession.
“If somebody dies, I’m not going to have it on my head,” said Linda Healy, executive director of the nonprofit agency that runs the shelter in Aurora, a Chicago suburb where domestic violence is the third-most reported crime.

It’s a different take on the idea of hanging your shoes on a phone wire or on a tree. It takes on a different meaning depending on where you go. Here, though, it represents the lives effected by the economic mess.

Pretty nice looking photo. It would make a nice wallpaper for my desktop (you see I am obsessed with desktop customization AKA skinning… lets hope I can spread that obsession with the sneaker and shoe culture).
Rest assured that there is a small wallpaper size of this shot avaiable on Flickr. Oh and did you here about the Flickr2Twitter deal? Will TwitPic fall under the shear weight of FlickrTwitter?
Does this mean no more pics of La La’s and Solanges shoes? We will soon see.
La La Loves Her Shoes

Ok ladies, I have been ignoring your shoes for too long. Mad stuff has come out already but I didn’t say a word. Hopefully that will change in the next week. But to hold you over I do have some shoe news for the ladies. La La is a Twitter fiend! She posts on more stuff than you probably want to know. While I was looking for this Pink Range Rover she wanted to sell on eBay on her TwitPic profile, I cam across these pics of her shoes. Read more »
New LeBron VII! Now With Flywire!
(this has ALLOT of potential with colorways)
(and you know LeBron and Nike can come up with colorways)
You know LeBron had his down moments this year loosing to Dwight Howard’s team in the finals, and that terrible display of sportsmanship for not shaking hands for the winners and no press conference (and some crap about winners don’t like to loose… winners don’t like to wine about losing either), but this maybe his comeback sneaker.
Not only is it using flywire but it seems to also be using the new Air Max bag. What, no more Zoom? No more double stacked Zoom either? Not sure if that is a good move but I will have to wait for more info. I have to admit my Air Max 2009+ is FAR more comfortable than the Air Max 360 (and that is saying allot because the 360 was pretty comfortable).
I wonder if Brand Jordan is watching… can’t even IMAGINE a Air Jordan line with a Air Max cushion for comfort.
And here is another strange thing that may not last too long… the LeBron branding Lion isn’t anywhere to be seen.
More Packs To Drain Your Wallet!!! – Air Jordan 2009 – Hall of Fame Pack
(^^^dude… what the hell^^^)
(^^^ a little better, but not by much^^^)
(^^^AJ 1 looks… interesting^^^)
Okay… ummmmm… I love the idea for this project. The pack currently consists of 4 sneakers – the AJ1, AJ 3, AJ 2009, and the Six Rings.
It is sort of obvious why those particular sneakers were chosen. The Six Rings is more obvious, as well as the AJ 1 (first Air Jordan), and the AJ III (if you know some of the Jordan history, you will know that the AJ III almost didn’t happen). But the AJ 2009 seems a little bit of an odd pick. Other than being the last Air Jordan made, I don’t find the connection to the Hall of Fame very light ESPECIALLY since the last Air Jordan doesn’t carry a number after it, it carries the year it came out.
That ends the good news about this pack.
And now the bad news: Read more »
